YOU CAN BE HEALED

MATHEW 8:1–17

When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. 2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.4 And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.17

The Bible says the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord Rom. 6:23.

One of the ways through which people die is sicknesses or diseases, so if you are reading this and you want to be a partaker of the healing power of God, then you can make up your mind now to surrender your soul to the Almighty God through His Only Begotten Son the Lord Jesus Christ. Is there any part of your body that is sick or diseased? You can be healed if you are willing.

From our text that we read, let’s briefly look at:

4 Categories of People that Jesus Can Heal:

1. He can heal you as an individual- Although they were many people who followed Jesus, it was only the leper that was healed… v2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. That means he had a peculiar case, Jesus can heal you as an individual. V3 … And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Just like many people will be reading this, you must come out of the multitude. -Oh you are here with one disease in one part or many parts of your body:-it could be your lungs, liver, kidneys, womb, heart. -is it your eyes, ears, legs, spinal cord,- is it a habit that you have been struggling with, secret smoking, taking of alcohol, -You may even be sick spiritually, lies, envy, pride, jealousy, fornication, adultery, unforgiveness etc. - Jesus Heals individual.

- Luke 4:27 And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet. Yet not one of them was cleansed — only Naaman the Syrian.-

Please cry onto Jesus saying: Jesus! Please touch me and heal me Oh Lord!!!! Heal me of (mention those sicknesses) unto Him in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

Peradventure, you are reading this, and you have no sickness both physical or spiritual, but you want Jesus to extend His healing to others, then you belong to the 2nd category.

2. Jesus can heal your staff ( i.e., workers, house helps, drivers, Colleagues, Friends) when you pray for them.

And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

Oh the centurion was not diseased, but he had a servant who was sick at home. Oh all that the centurion desired of Jesus was for his servant to be healed. In other words, he had no need of healing for any members of his family, his wife, children, relations are all fine. In fact, he did not want Jesus in his house. He only wanted Jesus Christ in order to receive healing for his servant . Unlike Zacchaeus, when Jesus told him that He would dine with him that evening, Oh he did not say I am not worthy like the centurion, but accepted Jesus’ offer and his entire household became Christians, they got the greatest gift — salvation. Luke 19:1–10. Oh how great it is to have Jesus under your roof?

But you know the centurion was a man under authority and if Jesus should step into that house, he probably may lose his power, wealth, influence.

Why?

Will all His sins not be revealed like those of Zacchaeus? Oh Yes. 9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. - Jesus healed his servant V.13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour, and so you are reading this right now, all you desire is that your, house helps, staff, drivers, security men, colleagues, friends should be healed.

Lift up your voice and cry unto the LORD: Jesus! I believe. Please heal all my staff, house helps, drivers, cooks, security men, co-workers, etc. for those sicknesses that you know they have…please mention them in Jesus Mighty Name.

You are reading this, and you are saying Jesus thank You for healing me, my staff, colleagues, etc. or you are not sick, in fact, you don’t even have a staff, no colleagues, no classmate, friends not to talk of any of them being sick but please you have people who are related to you, then you belong to:

Category 3 People that Jesus Can heal.

3. Jesus can heal your Relations:

14 And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever.15 And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.

Jesus went to Peter’s house and found his mother-in-law sick with fever and He touched her and she was healed and ministered unto them. Verse 14–15. In other words, Jesus can heal your husband, wife, children, parents- mother-in-law, father-in-law, brothers and sisters- because healing is the bread of children — Matthew 15:26. In Luke 13:10–17- is the story of a daughter of Abraham who had a spirit of infirmities for 18 years and was bowed together and could not lift herself up Jesus healed her.

Closely, related to this is that Jesus Heals his own When you make your home and family His own, then divine healing and health becomes your lifestyle and so you are reading this right now, your wife, husband, children, parents, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brothers, sisters, cousins, uncles, any member of your household is sick.

Say: Jesus! Please touch my wife, husband, children, relations in (mention the part where need healing )and heal them in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

4. Finally, Jesus can heal all categories of people and all categories of sicknesses.

Jesus can heal all categories of People -He can heal you, your staff, relations and everyone .You may be like the leper who is poor and destitute-Jesus can heal you. -You may be rich, powerful, influential like the centurion– those cannot buy healing except, only Jesus can.

16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:

• Jesus can also heal all manner of diseases, sicknesses- -Whether incurable, terminal, genetic,-Whether spiritual, physical, emotional, relational Jesus can heal all kinds of diseases.-if you accept His offer into your home and no secret at all in your heart –then He can even use you to heal others-- The house of Brother Peter was turned into a Miracle Centre-
• The word of God must be fulfilled in your life 17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. . Our Lord Jesus Christ performed these healings that it might be fulfilled that Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. Press forward to get it. Enough of deception of the devil. Healing is yours today in the Name of Jesus. I speak to that infirmity, no matter the name, you are paralyzed in the Name of Jesus. Amen. Go ahead and just praise the LORD!!! Halleluiah!!!
